CHARACTERS
A British woman who runs the Cherry Detective Agency. From finding lost belongings to performing background checks, the money-loving Chief takes on any case that comes her way. Unfortunately for her, they rarely do. Though her unusual features often cause her to stand out, it never seems to ruffle her feathers.
A somewhat naive young lady; the only daughter of the illustrious Shiraide family. When not attending thie city's most prestigious girls' academy, she resides in her mansion with her maid Melissa. The Chief's most lucrative client by far.
A maid in the service of Tohko's household. A self-proclaimed orthodox Victorian maid who excels at any and all housework. Among other things, brews a cup of tea exquisite enough to impress the Chief. But when it comes to cooking, her repertoire consists of a single dish—fish and chips.
A working-class girl who attends a girls' school in Asakusa. Though a bit of a late-bloomer, the trends of the times have begun filling her head with thoughts of boys and romance. Unlike Tohko or the Chief, her lack of wordly knowledge causes her to be rather smitten with Tsukasa, who had come from the future.
A young man who traveled back in time from the year 2020. Becomes the Chief's assistant in order to make a living in this new—or rather, old—age. Though his wealth of modern knowledge often comes in handy, he is frequently taken aback by the literal generation gap.
